Come join the Homer Independent Press (HIP) as we celebrate the Jan. 1, 2026, launch of our online news outlet! Stop by Alice’s Champagne Palace at 195 E. Pioneer Ave. in Homer on Friday, Jan. 2, anytime between 5 and 9 p.m.

Meet the board and staff and all the wonderful folks who have put time, money and energy into creating a community-based news service, learn the ways you can be involved and enjoy pizza on us.
