Vernon L. Koksugnik Lane, 36, charge dismissed, fifth-degree criminal mischief. Lane pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted escape, electronic monitor.
Feb. 2
Nicholas A. Wechsler, 30, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.
Feb. 3
Randy J. Brown, 27, pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment (anonymous, obscene or threatening call).
Feb. 4
Corey R. Bice, 26, pleaded guilty to driving with license cancelled/revoked/suspended.

Homer Police
Jan. 31
At 4:40 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance and arrested a 33-year-old Homer woman for six counts of fourth-degree assault, first-degree harassment, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass and fifth-degree misconduct involving weapons.
At 6:26 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance and arrested a 54-year-old Homer woman for violating conditions of release.
At 9:22 p.m., officers responded to a collision and arrested a 42-year-old Gainesville, Florida, man for driving under the influence and refusal.
At 9:56 p.m., officers contacted a 33-year-old man after seeing him driving on the sidewalk. He was arrested for driving under the influence.

At 1:04 a.m., officers performed a welfare check.
At 1:11 p.m., officers performed a welfare check.
At 1:12 p.m., officers assisted a Homer woman and located her son.
At 6:53 p.m., officers performed a welfare check.
Feb. 4
At 1:21 a.m., officers responded to the report of an expected death. Nothing suspicious was observed.
At 4:46 a.m., officers performed a welfare check.
At 10:22 a.m., officers responded to a report of harassment. No crime had occurred.
At 11:19 a.m., officers performed a welfare check.
At 1:46 p.m., officers responded to the report of a disturbance. No crime had occurred.
At 2:32 p.m., officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances. No crime had occurred.
Feb. 5
At 9:39 a.m., officers recovered a stolen vehicle. This case is under investigation.
At 1:12 p.m., a caller reported a minor vehicle collision in a parking lot. The drivers were given accident report forms.
At 2:43 p.m., officers responded to a report of harassment. This case investigation is pending a report from the victim.
At 11:09 p.m., a Homer resident reported being bit by a dog. The bite did not break the skin. officers were not able to locate the dog.
Feb. 6
At 10:06 a.m., officers contacted a 33-year-old Anchorage man who was known to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. They charged him with failure to appear on a charge of violating conditions of release and resisting arrest.
At 10:36 a.m., a caller reported harassment.
At 1:23 p.m., a caller reported their truck had been stolen. Officers located the vehicle and arrested a 28-year-old Homer man, for driving while license revoked. Charges of first-degree vehicle theft were referred to the Kenai District Attorney’s office.
Feb. 8
At 1:25 a.m., officers received a report of a stolen bike. The owner had misplaced the bike and forgot where he left it. Unfounded.
At 5:16 p.m., officers issued a one-week trespass notice to an individual after a business owner requested it because the person was being disruptive in the business.
At 7 p.m., officers arrested a 33-year-old Homer man for driving under the influence.
Feb. 9
At 3:54 a.m., officers arrested a 41-year-old Homer man for driving under the influence and misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fifth degree.
At 12:25 p.m., officers responded to a report of harassment. No crime had occurred.
At 12:38 p.m., officers received a report of trespassing. This case is under investigation.
At 1:12 p.m., officers responded to a report of stalking. No crime had occurred.
At 6:13 p.m., officers assisted medics.
At 7 p.m., officers performed a welfare check.
Feb. 10
At 10:57 a.m., an officer responded to the report of criminal trespassing. No crime had occurred.
At 1:02 p.m., an officer responded to the report of criminal trespassing. No crime had occurred.
At 3:28 p.m., Homer Police received a firearm from the Anchorage Police Department that had been reported as stolen from the Homer area. This case is under investigation.
Alaska State Troopers
Jan. 14
At about 12:50 p.m., a woman came to the Alaska State Troopers Anchor Point Post to report an assault involving her husband. An investigation showed the man had assaulted the woman twice in the previous month. An arrest warrant was obtained charging him with two counts of fourth-degree assault. On Feb. 4, troopers contacted the man at his residence and took him into custody on his warrant. He was found to be in possession of metal knuckles at the time of his arrest. He was transported and remanded into jail on the warrant and a new charge of fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons.
Jan. 23
Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. Subsequent investigation determined the driver, a 26-year-old Anchor Point man, drove with a suspended license. He was issued a summons to appear in court for driving with a suspended license and released.
Feb. 1
At 8:50 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop near Mile 148 Sterling Highway. The driver, a 23-year-old Homer woman, was issued a summons for driving while license was canceled, along with citations for equipment violations and failing to provide proof of insurance.
Feb. 2
At 5:33 p.m.troopers in Anchor Point received a report of a deceased person at a residence off Oil Well Road in Ninilchik. The individual was identified as Richard Nadeau, 64, of Ninilchik. The incident is not being investigated as suspicious.
Feb. 3
At about 6 p.m., troopers received a report about a possible disturbance at a residence in Homer. Troopers responded and subsequent investigation resulted in a 61-year-old Homer man being arrested for one count of driving under the influence. He was taken to the Homer Jail for the Datamaster process and gave a breath sample showing a breath alcohol content .128. He was remanded at the Homer Jail for one count of DUI.
Feb. 6
At 6:37 p.m, troopers received a “Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately” (REDDI) report regarding a silver Jeep traveling erratically on the Sterling Highway. Troopers located the vehicle and arrested the driver, a 60-year-old Anchor Point woman, for driving under the influence. She was remanded to the Homer Jail.
Feb. 10
At 1:46 p.m., troopers received multiple reports of a vehicle in the ditch north of Ninilchik. Troopers arrived on scene and identified the driver as a 32-year-old Anchor Point woman. Troopers confirmed with dispatch that her license is suspended and that she has multiple convictions for driving while license suspended within the past 10 years, most recently on March 3, 2025. She was issued a misdemeanor citation for DWLS with a court date set for a later date.
