The Homer Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center holds a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1230 Ocean Drive, No. 3, for hothouse, a new wellness center. hothouse also holds a Grand Opening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 26, with facility tours, exclusive launch pricing, and raffle giveaways. The new business is downstairs in the former Southwest Pilots Association building next to the Washboard.
“This event is an opportunity to celebrate another local business and the continued growth of our business community,” wrote Membership Director Christina Adams of the ribbon cutting in a press release. “We are excited to officially welcome and recognize them as a member of the Homer Chamber of Commerce.”
On its website, owners Roff and Catie McPherson write, “We are an integrative wellness center dedicated to supporting the Homer community. We offer advanced therapeutic tools—like infrared sauna, cold plunge, and red light therapy—accessible and empowering, helping you cultivate a healthier, more balanced life.
