Feb. 16

At 3:10 p.m., a Homer merchant reported an after the fact theft of merchandise. This case is under investigation.

At 3:55 p.m., officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances. No crime had occurred.


Feb. 17


At 7:41 a.m., officers responded to the report of suspicious circumstances. No crime had occurred.

At 8:35 a.m., officers responded to the report of a car parking in the roadway, blocking the lane of travel. The owner of the vehicle moved it.

At 7:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of harassment. A 49-year-old Homer man was charged with unlawful contact and violating conditions of release.



Feb. 19

At 11 a.m., officers responded to the report of vandalism. This case is under investigation.

At 12:54 p.m., officers responded to the report of a vehicle hitting and damaging a building. No crime had occurred.

At 3:28 p.m., officers assisted Alaska State Troopers.

At 5:52 p.m., officers assisted medics.

At 10:54 p.m., officers assisted the Troopers.



Feb. 21

At 5:11 p.m., a caller reported their daughter had been followed earlier in the day.

Criminal Dispositions




Feb. 17

Albert Richard Chaddock, 35, charges dismissed, interfere with report of domestic violence crime. He pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment (offensive physical contact).


Feb. 18


Carole Ann Barnett, 68, charges dismissed, third-degree assault (cause fear of injury with weapon – Count 4) and third-degree assault (cause fear of injury with weapon – Count 5). She pleaded guilty to reckless driving, leaving accident without providing information, and reckless endangerment (Counts 3 and 6).


Feb. 20




Tanner Luke Wagley, 33, charges dismissed, felony refusal of chemical test (two or more priors) and fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons (possess while intoxicated). He pleaded guilty to felony driving under the influence (two or more priors).


Sara Roderick, 51, charges dismissed, driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended (previous conviction).
