The Kachemak Nordic Ski Club holds this year’s Nordic Ski Marathon on Saturday, March 14. The event will kick off at the Lookout cross country trails and include timed races over three distances: 42 kilometers, 25 kilometers, and 13 kilometers. Marathon activities will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Following the marathon, all participants and volunteers are invited to an afterparty at the Danish Daughter Farm, located on Diamond Ridge Road and the Sunset Cross Country Ski Trails. The celebration will feature complimentary food, a cash bar, door prizes and a silent auction supporting the Kachemak Nordic Ski Club.

The traditional Nordic Ski Marathon trail starts at Lookout and finishes at Baycrest. However, if snow conditions are not favorable, both the start and finish will be held at Lookout.

This event is open to everyone and promises a fun experience for all participants. For further details and registration, please visit kachemaknordicskiclub.org.
