The Friends of the Homer Public Library will offer a Book Repair Workshop from 1-3 p.m. April 4 in the library’s meeting room.

Bookmender and artist Kathy Smith will teach simple book-mending techniques, including how to fix torn and loose pages, spines and covers.

The workshop is free. Book repair materials will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a book in need of simple mending.
