The Kachemak Bay Birders next meeting is 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters Visitor Center (formerly known as Islands and Ocean). 

Following a short business meeting, Jason Sodergren will present “Owl Banding in Homer Alaska from 2009-the Present Time.” Jason’s owl banding has resulted in some interesting results, many intriguing stories and some of the cutest owl photos in the world. His project is fascinating, important scientifically, and these owls live right here amongst us in Homer.
