April 13
Alaska State Troopers received a report of a burglary on East End Road. Subsequent investigation led to a 40-year-old Anchor Point man and a 37-year-old Anchor Point woman being charged with multiple charges including Criminal Trespass, Burglary, and Vehicle Theft. Arrest warrants were issued and both parties were ultimately arrested and remanded to Homer Jail.
April 24
At 1:12 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a complaint that a 36-year-old Anchor Point woman drove through a neighbor’s yard, causing property damage. AST responded to 32930 Heddell Street in Anchor Point and contacted the property owner. Further investigation revealed she induced property damage at another residence and was involved in a physical altercation with her husband. She was arrested at 5:04 p.m. and transported to Homer Jail, where she was remanded on one count of Assault in the 4th Degree (DV), two counts of Criminal Trespass 1st Degree, one count of Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, and one count of Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree.
April 26
At 11:32 a.m., Anchor Point troopers took the report of a suspicious person entering a residence on Kutafya Road just north of Anchor Point. Troopers contacted the registered owner of the property and confirmed no one is allowed to be there. The trooper secured the outside of the residence and waited for a Homer police officer on their way to assist. Once they arrived, law enforcement began clearing the inside of the residence. After 25 minutes of searching the dwelling, the described suspect was found hiding beneath a pile of random household objects. The suspect was identified as a 29-year-old Anchor Point woman. Subsequent investigation and interviews led to her being arrested for Burglary in the 1st degree and theft in the 4th degree. She was booked into Homer Jail without issue with no bail.
April 28
At 9:57 a.m., an individual in the Tall Tree Avenue area reported that a 45-year-old Anchor Point man had just physically assaulted him and stolen his vehicle. He was then located with the vehicle near Homestead Road in Happy Valley. Subsequent investigation and interviews showed that the 45-year-old physically assaulted the complainant resulting in physical injury and then stole their vehicle. His license status is currently suspended with a prior conviction for driving while license suspended on Dec. 17. 2025. He was arrested for Vehicle Theft in the 1st, Assault in the 4th, and DWLS. He was remanded at Homer Jail with no bail.
April 28
At 11:35 p.m., troopers responded to report of a female trespassing in a residence on East End Road. An investigation led to the arrest of a 39-year-old Palermo, Maine woman for criminal trespass. She was transported and remanded into the Homer Jail. Alcohol was a factor in this incident.
April 29
At 12:20 a.m., troopers responded to a disturbance at a residence on East End Road. During the investigation, troopers contacted a 30-year-old Homer man who was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and remanded to the Homer Jail on the warrant.

At 6:38 p.m., officers responded to the 4000 Block of El Sarino Court for an assist agency call.
At 6:44 p.m., officers took an assist agency report for Alaska State Troopers that was reported at HPD by one of the parties involved. Report referred to AST.
April 24
At 12:16 p.m., officers responded to the 4000 Block of Main Street for a 911 Hang-Up call. officers checked on the residents at this location and confirmed that they did not need assistance.
At 1:11 p.m., officers responded to the 4000 Block of Main Street for a Civil Complaint. officers contacted both parties by phone and gave both parties their legal options to resolve the matter.
At 2:46 p.m., officers responded to the 3800 Block of Lake Street for a single vehicle accident. A vehicle had driven into the ditch at this location. No impairment on the driver.
At 8:29 p.m., officers responded to the 90 Block of Sterling Highway for a Disturbance call. After investigation, a 60-year-old Homer man was arrested and booked into the jail without incident for Disorderly Conduct.
At 4:08 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 Block of Ocean Drive for a Suspicious Circumstance call. A male reported that he thought someone left stolen property at his residence. After investigation, the property was found to not be stolen.
At 5:56 p.m., officers responded to the 3600 Block of Main Street for a Disturbance call. The caller reported someone banging on his front door. officers were unable to locate anyone upon arrival.
At 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the 300 Block of Bonanza Avenue for a juvenile problem call. officers investigated and determined that no further action by Law Enforcement was required.
At 8:31 p.m., officers conducted a Traffic Stop in the area of Freight Dock Road and Homer Spit Road. After investigation, a 49-year-old Kodiak woman was arrested and booked into the jail without incident for DUI.
April 26
At 7:53 a.m., officers responded to the 1400 Block of Blue Sky Avenue for a Trespass complaint. After investigation, both parties were advised of their options. No further action was required at the time.
At 8:20 a.m., officers responded to the 4600 Block of Emerald Road for an Assist Agency call. After investigation, information was routed back to the requesting agency and documented. Follow-up will be conducted by the requesting agency.
At 9:16 a.m., officers responded to the 3600 Block of Heath Street for a Welfare Check call. officers contacted a male at this location who asked for assistance. officers assisted him and he left the area.
At 11:32 a.m., officers responded to the 71000 Block of Kutafya Road to assist Troopers with a Burglary investigation.
At 12:10 p.m., a 31-year-old Homer man turned himself in to the police for a Fail To Appear/Probation Violation warrant and was booked into the jail without incident.
At 3:42 p.m., officers responded to the area of Main Street and Pioneer Avenue for a traffic complaint of a person walking in and out of the roadway. officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone meeting the description.
At 7:28 p.m., officers responded to the 90 Block of Sterling Highway for an Assist Agency call. officers assisted Homer Volunteer Fire Department with a fire call.
At 9:06 p.m., officers responded to the 90 Block of Sterling Highwayfor a Trespass complaint. Two males were trespassed from this location at the request of the owners.
April 28
At 1:28 a.m., officers responded to the 1400 Block of Blue Sky Avenue for a civil Issue between a renter and landlord.
At 6:54 a.m., officers responded and contacted a member of the public at the police department for an Assist Citizen call. officers advised options.
At 8:57 a.m., officers responded to the 200 Block of Ocean Loop Drive to an Assist Agency call. officers assisted HVFD with a medical emergency call.
At 9:35 a.m., officers responded to the 4400 Block of Freight Dock Road for an Assist Agency call. officers assisted HVFD with a medical emergency call.
At 10:05 a.m., officers responded to the 4400 Block of Freight Dock Road for a Disorderly Conduct call. officers contacted all parties involved and advised options.
At 10:28 a.m., officers responded to the 4300 Block of Freight Dock Road for a Disorderly Conduct call. After investigation, a 44-year-old Homer woman was arrested and booked into the jailfor Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief.
At 12:32 p.m., officers responded to the 4600 Block of Kachemak Drive for a Motor Vehicle Collision with damage. One vehicle struck the back end of another vehicle.
At 6:37 p.m., officers responded to the 100 Block of Mountain View Drive for a Suspicious Circumstance call. officers checked the area and were unable to locate the male in question.
At 9:02 p.m., officers responded to the 4700 Block of Homer Spit Road for a Welfare Check call. officers were unable to locate the person in question.
At 11:23 p.m., officers responded to the 55000 Block of East End Road for an Assist Agency call. HPD assisted HPD with a potential Burglary/Trespass call.
