Staff report

Join Kachemak Bay Research Reserve staff to conduct crab monitoring on the Homer Spit starting at noon on Friday at the Water Trail Pavilion near the Nick Dudiak Fishing Lagoon on the Homer Spit. Scientists will be checking crab traps and searching for signs of the invasive European green crab.

This is a family friendly educational event. Wear waterproof boots and warm clothing.
