Staff Report

Friends of Kachemak Bay State Parks and Alaska State Parks will hold free training on trail work Saturday, April 18, at the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge on the Homer Bypass.

No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn safety, hand and power tools, best practices for tread maintenance and corridor clearing, and what to expect for trail work trips to the parks.

Accommodations in rustic cabins or your sleeping bag with group dinners around the campfire.
