June 10
At 8:42 a.m., a victim in a domestic violence case reported that the suspect, a 30-year-old Homer man, had contacted them earlier that morning via text messages. His conditions of release state for him not to contact the victim. Alaska State Troopers contacted the suspect at his place of employment in Homer later that day and he admitted to the communication with the victim. He was placed under arrest for first-degree unlawful contact and violating conditions of release. He was remanded at Homer Jail with no bail without issue.
June 14
At 1:32 p.m., troopers responded to a trespassing complaint at an address on LaDuquesa Lane in Anchor Point. An investigation showed a 41-year-old Anchor Point woman had previously been trespassed from the property and had returned today. She was contacted nearby and charged with second-degree criminal trespassing.
June 11
At 1:50 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on Mossberry Court in Homer for a report of a woman who had trespassed. An investigation showed a 37-year-old Homer woman had entered a residence without permission and attempted to steal alcohol. She then went to a neighboring property where she stole a drink from the deck area of the house. She was located a short time later and arrested. She was transported and remanded into the Homer Jail on charges of first-degree burglary fourth-degree theft.
June 14
At 8:15 a.m., an Anchor Point resident called troopers to report that he just witnessed his neighbor punch their teenage son in the head. Troopers responded to the residence and subsequent investigation revealed that a 38-year-old Anchor Point man had physically assaulted a family member. He was arrested for Assault for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and transported to the Homer Jail with no bail.
June 16
At 7:45 p.m., the troopers conducted a traffic stop on a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle in Anchor Point for speeding and driving on the roadway without any registration. Subsequent investigation resulted in the driver, a 28-year-old Homer man, being arrested for one count of driving under the influence. He showed a breath alcohol content of .138 on the Datamaster and was transported to the Homer Jail for remand.
At 10:16 p.m., troopers made a traffic stop on a blue vehicle that was speeding near Mile 171 Sterling Highway, in Homer. Subsequent investigation resulted in the driver, a 33-year-old Kaunakakai, Hawaii, man, being placed under arrest for one count of driving under the influence. He was transported to the Homer Jail and at 10:59 p.m., he showed a breath alcohol content (BrAC) of .106 on the Datamaster. He was remanded to the Homer Jail.

June 9
At 2:24 a.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Lake Street for a disturbance call. Officers were advised of a domestic disturbance involving alcohol. After investigation, no arrests were made and both parties separated for the remainder of the evening.
At 12:34 p.m., officers responded to the 90 block of Sterling Hwy for a motor vehicle collision. Both parties were contacted and the incident was documented.
At 3:46 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of East End Road for a welfare check call. Officers checked on the party and found them to be fine. No further action required.
At 10:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of East End Road and Stuart Avenue for an assist agency call. officers had been asked by Alaska State Troopers to see if police could find a vehicle involved in a motor vehicle collision. officers were unable to locate it.
June 10
At 6:13 a.m., officers contacted a 42-year-old Homer woman at the Homer Police Department, where she was arrested and booked into the Homer Jail for the following warrants: driving under the influence, fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and violating conditions of release.
At 8:09 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of East Pioneer Avenue for an abandoned vehicle call.
At 11:37 a.m., officers were advised of drug activity in the 5100 block of Kachemak Drive.
At 2:00 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Homer Spit Road for a welfare check call. The individual refused assistance.
At 7:58 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Homer Spit Road for a welfare check call. The individual refused assistance.
June 11
At 8:19 a.m., officers contacted a 20-year-old Anchor Point woman at the Homer Police Department. She was arrested and booked into the Homer Jail for a charge of failure to appear in court on an original charge of DUI.
At 9:02 a.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Homer Spit Road for a welfare check call. Officers contacted this individual and detained them for a mental health hold. They were transported to South Peninsula Hospital for medical treatment.
At 11:56 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Ocean Drive for a theft call. The incident was investigated and documented.
At 12:20 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of East End Road for a trespass call. Subject was contacted and advised of his 6-month trespass from the property, at the request of the property owner.
At 1:54 p.m., officers responded to the 3500 block of Heath Street for a trespass call. The subject was contacted and advised of their 1-year trespass from the property, at the request of the property owner.
At 2:27 p.m., officers responded to the 4600 block of Kachemak Drive for a disturbance call. A resident of this location had initially barricaded himself into a room, but before officer arrival, he had calmed down and was looked at by Homer Volunteer Fire Department medics. No further action required.
At 8:46 p.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Morris Avenue for a civil issue call. This was determined to be a landlord/tenant issue and the tenant was advised of their options.
At 10:56 p.m., officers responded to the 4600 block of Kachemak Drive for a disturbance call. The individual was calm upon officers arrival and was given a disorderly conduct warning.
June 12
At 8:03 a.m., officers responded to the 57000 block of Blueberry Glen Avenue for an Assist Agency call. Police assisted troopers with a call at this location.
At 11:15 a.m., officers responded to the 3800 block of Lake Street for a theft call.
At 11:28 a.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Ocean Drive for a motor vehicle collision. The call was investigated and documented. No injuries were reported.
At 1:06 p.m., officers responded to the area of East End Road and Meadow Drive for a motor vehicle collision. The call was investigated and documented. No injuries were reported.
At 4:06 p.m., officers responded to the 3800 block of Lake Street for a theft call. As a result, an 18-year-old Homer man was arrested via summons for fifth-degree theft.
At 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of West Pioneer Avenue for a welfare check call. Upon arrival the patient was contacted and was determined to have a non-life-threatening medical issue occurring.
At 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of Bartlett Street for a warrant arrest. As a result, a 66-year-old Homer man was arrested and booked into the Homer Jail for a fugitive warrant from Arizona for probation violations.
June 13
At 11:26 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Bayview Drive for a vandalism call. The victim reported a subject threw a rock at the windshield of their vehicle, breaking it. The call was documented and under investigation.
At 11:29 a.m., officers responded to the area of Homer Spit Road and Kachemak Drive for an off road vehicle call. A caller reported these vehicles on the bike path.
At 11:49 a.m., officers responded to the 4900 block of Kachemak Drive for a theft call.
At 2:48 p.m., officers responded to the 5600 block of Rosa Drive for a disturbance call. It was reported that two people were having words with each other. No law enforcement action was required.
At 3:31 p.m., officers responded to the area of West Danview Avenue and Hohe Street for a traffic call. It was reported that a vehicle had driven off of the road and into a ditch. A tow truck was called.
At 3:35 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Hazel Avenue for an assist agency call. Police assisted HVFD with a medical call.
At 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Elderberry Drive for a trespass call. Upon arrival the subject was contacted and advised of the 2-year trespass from the property at the request of the property owner.
At 10:57 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of the Sterling Highway for a reported death. An expected death had occurred.
June 14
At 1:35 a.m., officers responded to the 90 block of Sterling Highway for an alarm call. No entry was made, but a deliberate attempt to gain entry occurred.
At 4:04 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Sterling Highway for a motor vehicle collision call. Upon arrival, both parties had already exchanged information.
At 4:14 p.m., officers responded to the area of Sterling Highway and Virginia Avenue for a traffic call. As a result, a 51-year-old Wasilla woman was arrested and booked into the Homer Jail for driving while license suspended and violating conditions of release.
At 8:00 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Fish Dock Road for a disturbance call. As a result, a 64-year-old Homer man was arrested and booked into the Homer Jail for fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, interfering with report of domestic violence, all domestic violence related, and violating conditions of release.
June 15
At 8:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of Ben Walters and East End Road for a traffic call. The reporting party advised someone had thrown something at another vehicle in the roadway. The incident was documented.
At 9:19 a.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of Lake Street for a theft call. The reporting party alleged that her roommate stole some of her property. The incident was documented and is under investigation.
At 11:22 a.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of the Sterling Highway for a lost property call. A wallet was turned over to police. Police located the owner and returned the item.
At 12:50 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Rangeview for an online fraud call. A report was taken and the victim was advised of their options, including a report to the FBI via the IC3.GOV website.
At 2:52 p.m., officers received a referral from the Office of Children’s Services regarding a sexual abuse of a minor (SAM) case. The case was referred from out of state. The incident was documented and will be investigated.
At 3:01 p.m., officers received a report of an abandoned vehicle in the area of Freight Dock Road and Outer Dock Road.
At 3:05 p.m., officers received a referral report in the 1200 block of Cook Way from OCS. The report will be documented and investigated.
At 3:20 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Sterling Highway for a motor vehicle collision with injury. Officers responded and investigated the collision.

Charles William Tangman, 41, pleaded guilty to driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction.
June 9
Leroy Joseph Unalliin Elliott Jr., 30, charges dismissed, driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction.
June 10
Christopher Keith Brown, 33, charges dismissed, second-degree harassment (likely to provoke violence) and first-degree criminal trespass (on land, intend crime). He pleaded guilty to resisting or interfering with arrest by force.
Nicholas James Travis, 31, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft (less than $250).
Streeteven Dallas Neely, 48, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct (loud noise, public/private).
Polly Martushev, 41, charges dismissed, violating a domestic violence protective order.
Calvin Ike George, 47, charges dismissed, violating a domestic violence protective order.
Jack Ralph Niemi, 73, charges dismissed, driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction.
Samuel Colton Reece, 32, charges dismissed, disorderly conduct (create hazardous condition).
