Sept. 7

Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point responded to Kachemak Selo for a report of a deceased person. Subsequent investigation determined that a 35-year-old man had been found dead by his family. Nothing suspicious was identified during the preliminary investigation. His body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office and his next of kin have been notified.

Criminal cases disposed

Aug. 31

Charles Michael Rockett Jr., 55, charges dismissed, reckless driving, driving with a cancelled, suspended, or revoked license (with previous conviction), driving without motor vehicle liability insurance, driving with a cancelled, suspended, or revoked license, and first-degree criminal trespass (on land, intend crime). Across three cases, he pleaded guilty to second-degree failure to stop at the direction of officer, second-degree misdemeanor violation of condition of release for a felony, fourth-degree theft (less than $250), and third-degree misdemeanor violation of condition of release for a felony.

John Paul Godsy, 31, charges dismissed, creating a hazardous condition (disorderly conduct), second-degree assault (serious injury, reckless), misdemeanor violation of conditions of release, and seven counts of second-degree criminal trespass (dismissed via plea agreement in another case). Across five cases, he pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass (upon premises), creating a hazardous condition (disorderly conduct), and fourth-degree assault (recklessly injure).

Kyle Wayne Roberts, 36, charges dismissed, third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance (manufacture/deliver Schedule IIA or IIIA). He pleaded guilty to fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance (possession of any amount of Schedule IA, IIA, IIIA, IVA, or VA substance).

Hayden Anthony Patterson, 29, charges dismissed across four cases: two counts of driving while license cancelled, revoked, or suspended with a previous conviction, permitting unauthorized person to drive, driving without motor vehicle liability insurance, and three counts of violating conditions of release for a misdemeanor.

Sept. 2

Stephanie Lorraine Suboch, 29, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (bac .08+ percent).

Keith Alan Avila, 56, charges dismissed, driving while license cancelled, revoked, or suspended for a criminal offense. (Note: Dismissed via a plea agreement in another case).

Sept. 3

Hayden Anthony Patterson, 29, charges dismissed, driving while license cancelled, revoked, or suspended with a previous conviction and violating conditions of release for a misdemeanor.
