The ‘Haunted Aspen’ returns to Homer

Halloween is coming into port a little early this year.

If you dare to be scared, board the Haunted Aspen on Wednesday, Oct. 28, for some spooky holiday fun. Bring a nonperishable food item for admission; this annual event doubles as a food drive for the Homer Community Food Pantry.

The lights will stay on between 4 and 6 p.m., perfect for the younger kids or those who don’t jibe well with the horrors.

The USCG Aspen crew will take a break and reset from 6 to7 p.m., and then it’s “high fright” time from 7 to 10 p.m. for all who get a thrill from creepy chills.

Find the Aspen at 4688 Homer Spit Road.
